The Cheshire and Merseyside Sexual Health Network was established in 2006. The network aimed to drive improvements in the commissioning and delivery of sexual health clinical and promotional services to achieve better sexual health. The Network had a key role in ensuring the sexual health needs of local people were met; and improving the service user experience when accessing sexual health services. The Cheshire and Merseyside Sexual Health Network aimed to promote good sexual health through: empowering service users, easy and prompt access to services, effective prevention and equitable, high quality standards of care.
