Every breath we take - Where next for Liverpool?

Air pollution is something which affects each and everyone one of us. Together we can raise the profile of the effects air pollution has on our health and what we can do about it.

Join us on Clean Air Day as we bring together stakeholders from Liverpool and the wider region to discuss how clinicians, members of the public and stakeholders can work together to improve the quality of the air we all breathe.

Programme

The event will be opened by the Mayor of Liverpool (Joe Anderson OBE), followed by a panel discussion including Professor Stephen Holgate (RCP special adviser on air quality), Larissa Lockwood (head of health and air quality at global action plan), and a final panel member which will be confirmed shortly. The panel discussion will be followed by informal discussions between participants on the key actions we can all take. We'll also be joined by members of the British Lung Foundation's & Client Earths Clean Air Parents’ Network.

The event will seek to create a range of actions that together will help improve air quality in Liverpool.

Event details

The event will run between 2–4pm, and light refreshments will be provided.
