UKPHR Public Health Practitioner Development

Registration is now open to attend a local roadshow to find out more about the forthcoming North West Public Health Practitioner Scheme.

Aim:

Each roadshow is a short discovery event aimed at the public health workforce and associated workforces that have a role in tackling the wider determinants of health and would be interested in the practitioner scheme as a development opportunity.

Target Audience:

  • Public health practitioner workforce (NHS bands 5 and above)
  • Those working on the wider determinants of health
  • Public health workforce employers / Line Managers of potential scheme participants
  • Potential scheme Assessors and Verifiers (those with more than 2 years’ work experience in a public health role, public health specialist trainees, public health consultants)

The purpose of the session is to provide a forum to update colleagues regarding the UKPHR public health practitioner development programme, plans for a scheme here in the North West and to gain insight into gaining UKPHR registration from a practitioner.

It will also provide the opportunity to register interest in the NW programme either in the capacity as an assessor, verifier or potential participant in the programme.
