Anybody who wants a better understanding of the Public Health systems in the UK and careers available: 
• What is Public Health?
• What kind of jobs and careers are there in the field of Public Health and what does the day-to-day job involve?
• What training is available? 
 
What is the format of the event?
 
A short introductory presentation followed by “A Day in the Life of…” sessions where attendees will have the opportunity to meet with:
• A Director of Public Health from a council.
• A Consultant in Health Protection/Communicable Diseases Control from Public Health England (PHE).
• A Consultant in Health Care Public Health from PHE.
• A Speciality Registrar on the NHS Public Health Training Scheme.
